What People Fear Most About Retirement

In a recent survey, two-thirds of people said they are more afraid of running out of money in retirement than they are afraid of dying.

One of the most valuable services we provide to clients is helping them understand how much they can safely spend each year once they stop working.

That’s because most people are very concerned about depleting their savings too early.

“When Allianz recently asked some 3,000 people which they fear most — death or outliving their money in retirement — nearly two-thirds chose running out of dough over meeting the Grim Reaper.”
